Hi, I'm Sarah

head honcho

and founder

I’m a PA turned VA (Virtual Assistant) with over 30 years’ hands-on life experience, working with Executive Management teams, running offices, writing policy and procedures and helping clients win grant and funding applications.


In 2016, I started Active Admin & Business Solutions and work with clients from private businesses, retail and the Not for profit sectors.


As a natural organiser, my passion lies in bringing calm to chaos by creating policies and procedures, nutting out processes to streamline businesses, and finding the best ways to do business-related things.


In my downtime, you’ll find me reading real books (the kind you hold in your hand), doing handcrafts like sewing and knitting, defeating puzzles, jigsaws and brainteasers, and sharing a laugh with anyone around me.

Clare Doye
Virtual EA & Changemaker

Clare is a customer service superstar, helping the changemakers of the business world with EA work, email management, accounts and research. When she’s not supporting our clients, you’ll find Clare in her country home with her partner, her fetch-mad pooch Henry and cat Mush. She’s plant mad, loves to laugh, drinks way too much tea and listens to true crime podcasts.

Paula Rose
Online Manager & Allied Health Specialist

Paula is a whiz in managing virtual teams and has extensive business documentation and management experience. As a specialist in Allied Health, Paula is our go-to for OBM, policies and procedures, branding and formatting documents, system integration and automation, WordPress and CRM setups. When she’s not supporting our clients, you’ll find Paula sipping on her favourite coffee while creating masterpieces of art in the form of graphite portraits or acrylic paintings.

Jitixa Raniga
Office Tool Trainer & Excel Weaver
of Dark Magic

Jitixa has over 15 years’ experience in commercial finance which makes her our numbers geek. Providing uncomplicated financial analysis, she loves showing clients how to find areas of growth, increase profitability and save money. Jitixa is also a nerd when it comes to Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Docs and is our in-house trainer who shows clients how to use these programs. When she’s not working, you’ll find Jitixa building sandcastles at the beach with her boys, then relaxing with endless cups of tea, dark chocolate and a good book.

Heather Spence
Social Media Manager & Creative Organiser

Heather is our team’s social media manager and digital marketer, using her creative talents to help our clients stay social. From creating social media plans, sourcing content, and setting up profiles, to coordinating website updates, Heather makes sure our clients are well represented online. When she’s not supporting our clients, you’ll find Heather, an award-winning quilter with a really cute accent, either couch chilling with her cats Beans and Burrito, or up swing dancing, surfing or road tripping with her two kids.

Isabelle Edwards
Virtual Assistant & Policy Maker

Isabelle is a policy and procedure pro who’s passionate about creating every single business manual you’ll ever need, along with tackling the day-to-day things like email management, client correspondence, data entry, calendar management and research projects. When she’s not supporting our clients, you’ll find Isabelle reading 3+ books a week, watching true crime shows, collecting journals too pretty to write in, and being obsessed with house plants.

Angela Revell
WebMaster Extraordinaire

Angela is a dedicated 'techxpert' with an extensive background in the Technology Industry. As a knowledge collector with a large range of skills from website development, software support, course platform creations, technical troubleshooting & a range of CRM platforms - Angela is our in-house IT guru. When she's not supporting our clients, you'll find Angela spending time with her 3 boys & cheeky husband, playing the piano, reading a book or hitting a golf ball.
